Advancing Healthy Weight and Oral Health: WP1 and WP6 Welcome Oral Hygiene Students from Inholland
As part of the MetaHealth project and within the framework of the Minor MetaHealth, WP1 and WP6 are pleased to welcome Oral Hygiene students from Inholland University of Applied Sciences. These students will conduct research on innovative approaches to promoting both oral health and overall well-being, with a focus on families with lower socioeconomic status (SES).

AMEC 2025: Advancing Microbiome Science from Ecology to Health
The Amsterdam Microbiome Expertise Center (AMEC) 2025 Day, February 13, brought together leading researchers, industry experts, and young scientists to explore the latest advancements in microbiome science. Held at the Artis Konings hall and Tiger hall, the event revolved around the theme: From Microbial Ecology & Evolution to Health & Disease Prevention, Diagnosis, and Cure.

´How do you know what you know?´ is a question of all times and cultures that is subject to constant change. In our society, digitalization is having a profound effect on how we know what we know. However, due to a toxic mix of geopolitical tensions and rapidly evolving artificial intelligence, our everyday truth is at risk. While, as humans, we need knowledge to survive. On January 14, 2025, we celebrated the unique collaboration for knowledge sharing between knowledge institutions, cultural and social initiatives, service organizations, the province of North Holland and the municipality of Amsterdam at openresearch.amsterdam.
