MetaHealth research presented at Supporting Health by Technology Conference 2025

On June 11, 2025, at the Supporting Health by Technology Conference, Nymphaea Notschaele from Inholland University of Applied Sciences presented our behavioral design research ‘Applicability of Behavioral Design Methods in the MetaHealth Project’.

The presentation shared insights on how behavioral design can help create better health interventions for parents from low socioeconomic backgrounds during the first 1000 days of life. We used methods like personas and user journey mapping to understand the needs of this target group.

The research showed that parents’ information needs changes as their children develop, and there are significant differences between first-time parents and those with experience. For these parents, “being a good parent” is the driving force behind most decisions, and trust plays a crucial role in how they engage with health information.
