The consortium has a steering committee and an advisory committee. The steering committee consists of the leaders of the WPs and is led by the main PI, Egija Zaura. The management of the consortium is supported by a dedicated manager from the institution of the main applicant (ACTA), Sjaak Lammerts. Sjaak supports the steering committee in tasks such as organizing consortium and advisory committee meetings and producing progress reports.
The steering committee meets ten times a year, guards the timeline and evaluates the progress and if needed, decides on implementation of alternative plans for the project. Productive interactions with all partners will be assured by consortium meetings twice a year, seminars and workshops for internal and external stakeholders in an advisory group of the project.
The advisory committee consists of representatives of the co-funding and main cooperation partners and an independent scientific member and an independent societal member.
The independent scientific member is internationally renowned in the research on topics relevant for this project. This is prof. dr. E. van der Beek, UMCG, expert in early life nutritional programming.
The independent societal member is Lili Genee Pirayesh, lead of the initiative ‘Vullen of Voeden’.
The advisory committee meets twice a year and has a supervisory and advisory role in the project progress. The steering committee reports bi-annually to the advisory committee.
The program provides for the appointment of fifteen PhD students and four postdocs.
