Her thesis focused on mental well-being and the various elements –such as social exclusion and instability – that influence it.
As a junior researcher Zana delves into mental well-being and she focusses on stress within families with young children. She investigates the experience of stress in relation to health practices within these family settings in their every daylives.
Her research interests include mental health, migration, social inequality, uncertainty, and utilizing interdisciplinary and ethnographic methods to gain a fuller understanding of health and migration issues. Zana is committed to exploring how social factors come together to influence the well-being of individuals and communities.
